WILL MY WORLD WIDE WEB BROWSER LET ME SHOP AND BROWSE ON Daly R.Com?

To fully enjoy everything that Daly RV, LLC has to offer, we recommend using the latest in Internet Web Browser technology. Since all of the software is free, it's easy to get and easy to upgrade. Once you get the latest browser, you'll find that you don't need anything more than the standard free browsers in order to enjoy our website's content, including the full security features while placing orders.

Most people are using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Netscape Communicator or America Online. Here's how to find out if the browser you're using needs to be upgraded.

If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer:

  1. Launch the program.
  2. (Windows) Go to the "Help" menu and pull down to "About Internet Explorer".
    (Macintosh) Go to the Apple menu and pull down to "About Internet Explorer".
  3. Make certain that the "version" number reads "4" or higher.
  4. If the software says that it is a version lower than "4," please refer below to "Upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer."

If you're using Netscape Navigator or Communicator:

  1. Launch the program.
  2. (Windows) Go to the "Help" menu and pull down to "About Netscape".
    (Macintosh) Go to the Apple menu and pull down to "About Navigator".
  3. Make certain that the "version" number reads "4" or higher.
  4. If the software says that it is a version lower than "4," please refer below to "Upgrade Netscape Navigator."

If you're using America Online:

  1. Launch the program.
  2. (Windows) Before signing on, look at the information under the AOL logo in the sign on box. It will read "America Online", followed by a "v" and a number.
    (Macintosh) Before signing on, look at the information under the AOL logo in the sign on box. It will read "America Online", followed by a "v" and a number.
  3. Make certain that the "version" number reads "4" or higher.
  4. If the software says that it is a version lower than "4," please refer below to "Upgrade America Online."

HOW DO I UPGRADE MY BROWSER?

If your World Wide Web browser or America Online version is lower than version 4.0, it's easy to download your new browser and upgrade today.

Upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  1. Go To http://www.microsoft.com/ie.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the new Internet Explorer browser.
  3. Download the Internet Explorer browser installation program to your PC or Mac's desktop.
  4. Exit your old browser and disconnect your Internet connection.
  5. Double-click on the installation icon and follow Microsoft's simple installation instructions.

Upgrade Netscape Navigator.

  1. Go To http://www.netscape.com.
  2. Click on the "Download" button near the top of the screen.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to download the new Netscape Navigator or Communicator browser.
  4. Download the Netscape browser installation program to your PC or Mac's desktop.
  5. Exit your old browser and disconnect your Internet connection.
  6. Double-click on the installation icon and follow Netscape's simple installation instructions.

Upgrade America Online.

  1. (Windows) On America Online's service, go to KEYWORD:UPGRADE.
    (Macintosh) On America Online's service, go to KEYWORD:PREVIEW.
  2. Download the program to your computer's desktop area.
  3. Double-click on the installation icon and follow America Online's simple installation instructions.
  4. (Macintosh) Version 4.0 is still in beta, or testing, mode. If you download it, please do not drag your 3.0 version of America Online to the trash until the final version of America Online 4.0 for the Macintosh is released.

I'VE GOT THE RIGHT BROWSER, AND I'M CONNECTED, BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO PURCHASE ANYTHING ONLINE. WHAT'S WRONG?

It's possible that you may be having trouble with getting a "secure connection" between your computer and our computers. Are you at work? If you are, ask your office's System Administrator if your computer is "behind a firewall." If it is, certain transactions may be blocked until the System Administrator makes adjustments to fix it. There is also a possibility that your Internet service provider does not have the right kind of equipment where their computers are kept. If you are at home, call your Internet Service Provider and ask them if they "support 128-bit encryption".

WHAT CAN I DO TO MY COMPUTER TO HELP MAKE Daly RV.Com LOOK AND WORK ITS BEST?

Daly RV, LLC can be best viewed by using Internet Explorer 4.0 or Netscape Navigator 4.0. We also recommend that you use a computer monitor set to display a resolution of at least 1024 pixels by 768 pixels (1024x768) with at least True Colors (32bit).

For Maximum Viewing Area, we suggest that you hide your browser's messaging Toolbar, your address Toolbar, and/or your Personal Toolbar - utilizing the "View" pulldown menu located at the top of your browser.
